
Dr. Arnyce R. Pock is a board-certified Internist and a military-medical acupuncturist who completed a 30 year career on active duty in the U.S. Air Force and who has been practicing military-medical acupuncture for over 20 years. She had the distinct privilege of being a friend and colleague of Dr. Richard Niemtzow for 18 years, and was an active participant in the first three U.S-Chinese military-medical acupuncture exchange events, each of which were led by Dr. Niemtzow.
Dr. Pock maintains a special interest in international health engagement, integrative medicine, and military-medical/health related diplomacy, and previously served as the Director of the U.S Air Force Medical Service’s International Health Specialist program and as Director of the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps. Dr. Pock is a former Governor of the Air Force Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and is also a graduate of Drexel University’s Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) program.
Dr. Pock has been an Associate Editor for the journal Medical Acupuncture since 2011. She is also a Professor of Medicine and the Associate Dean for Curriculum at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) School of Medicine.
